What Do You Think of Vegetarian Dog Food?
I am against cruelty to animals. I am all for walking softly on the earth. I am all for respecting creatures of this earth whether they have two legs, or four or six. But, vegetarian dog food? Dogs are carnivores! They’re meant to eat meat.
I am not a vegetarian, though my daughter is. I’m okay with vegetarianism. Animal fat isn’t that great for us in the first place. But, somehow, it seems to me that putting a dog on a vegetarian diet to save a cow is like robbing Peter to pay Paul. Sacrifice the dog’s health to save the cow? You know? Or maybe that’s just me. What do you think?
Anorexia is not beautiful & curvy isn’t fat
40% of fourth grader girls diet either “very often” or “sometimes.” FOURTH grade. According to the National Eating Disorders Association, 90-95% of anorexia sufferers and 80% of bulimia patients are girls and women.
Conservative estimates are that 5-10 million girls and women, in the USA alone, are struggling with eating disorders. That doesn’t include Canada, Australia, or anywhere else. The numbers are staggering.
So, when Fracas said; Be outraged enough to have the courage to tell these people to shut the fuck up, I happily stepped up to the plate. This *is* one of my pet peeves.
You see, a Daily Mail (UK) article reported that stunning model Jen Hunter (left, below) was branded ‘too fat’ for TV competition.

According to the Daily Mail article;
“Judge Tandy Anderson, managing director of Select Model Management, criticised her for having “stocky” legs… Swedish blonde Miss Berglund, 18, who made it to the final with her, was meanwhile praised for having a “sensational” body for modelling despite having a body mass index of 16.1.”
You can read the article here… read Fracas’s post here… and if you should want to tell “Judge Tandy Anderson” a thing or two yourself, you can do that at www.selectmodel.com. Just click the ‘contact’ link.
Curvy Miss Hunter triumphed - viewers voted her to the top female slot in the contest – and claims she owes her success to her favourite dish of hotpot and chips.

Do you have a male or female brain?

So, apparently, I fall somewhere between the average women’s score and the average men’s score. But leaning a bit towards the woman… *whew* lol. How about you? It’s here, if you want to see how you do…
